Watermelons are the must have in our house. Great if it’s summer and it’s easier to find a quality watermelon almost everywhere.
It gets more tricky in winter months, when most of the watermelons are imported. It reminds me of a Russian Roulette- you never know is it going to be sweet or not.
We have 3 major watermelon eaters in our household– me and my two kids .
So each time we buy a huge watermelon, we leave a half of it uneaten and I traditionally make popsicles out of it. They are delicious and very refreshing, worth trying!
Watermelon leftovers are going to the fridge until the next day. Perfect breakfast smoothie main ingredient ! Fresh, crisp and crunchy watermelon bites are perfect
I usually blend strawberries all together with the green part- it gives a smoothie an extra nutrition. Make sure to wash your strawberries really well!
Optionally you can use frozen strawberries, like i did in this recipe. It helps to keep the smoothie cold and refreshing.
