Can you cook hard boiled eggs in air fryer?

Absolutely! I am not going to lie, the first time i cooked eggs in the air fryer it was a fail. A few eggs cracked and got pretty much burned and chewy inside. It happened because I overcooked them ( and the eggs also were very tiny). More sure to not overcook eggs and try to pick larger ones for the best results.

Recipe instructions

  1. Place eggs in already preheated to 250 degrees air fryer
  2. Cook them for 15 minutes
  3. Place them in to the ice water as soon as you take them out of the basket

As you can see, nothing is impossible for your air fryer. Just to be clear, i own the Gourmia 5 quart Air fryer. Its big enough for a whole chicken but doesn’t take a huge amount of space on my counter ( of course still a lot but less then other models). I dont see this exact model available any ore at amazon, so i am going to move on to a newer model- Gourmia 6 qt. It fits more and works just as well!

i too have had a hard time with peeling hard boiled eggs cooked in air fryer. i have tried at least a 1/2 dozen times and they always tear apart when i try to peel them. i always soak them in an ice bath but it doesn't seem to help. so i have gone back to the stove method.

I'm having trouble peeling my eggs. Mine are very hard to peel and I don't why. I see that you say to place them in very old water. What is very old water? I have tried the ice Bath only. Please help.

Cold (ICE) water not old water. Helps with easier peeling.
