Watermelon salad with feta cheese
Today we are going to be making watermelon salad with feta cheese.
Feta may be a surprising choice for the fruit salad for someone, but trust me, it adds a very delicate flavor and texture.
What goes on the watermelon salad?
- Watermelon (obviously)
- Feta cheese ( not crumbled, in blocks)
- Fresh mint
- Fresh lime juice
- Strawberries (optional)
- Cucumbers (optional)

Why i don’t use crumbled feta cheese
If you crumble feta by yourself, that’s fine. Store bought crumbled feta is full of cellulose (that used to prevent it from sticking).
Its unhealthy and just gross to eat in my opinion, but very convenient for sure.
I grow my own mint in the big pot on the backyard. The bush is so big it almost looks like weeds!
Grows super fast and so fragrant! You can also grow mint or any other herb in the apartment on the window. So handy!
