Creamy Alfredo pasta linguine noodles made in your instant pot is a simple dinner recipe for your whole family to enjoy! Ready in under 20 minutes and this creamy Parmesan sauce is just perfect!
1 1/2cupbrothi used chicken but you can use vegetarian or beef as well
1/2lbfettuccine noodles
1cupparmesan cheese*
2tspnchopped or minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste*
Instructions
Add broth, cream and garlic in to the pot. Place noodles(break in half), make sure then most of the noodles are covered in liquid. Dont stir( You dont want pasta noodles to get stuck on the bottom)
Close and lock the lid. Cook on high pressure for 7 minutes. Let naturally release for 5 minutes and the quick release (be careful because the cream may start coming out from the valve, just have a towel close by)
Open the lid and separate stuck noodles with a fork. Stir well. Add Parmesan and stir again
Add some chopped chives or green onions. Serve.
Notes
*Buy Parmesan in blocks if possible. Already shredded Parmesan contains cellulose that is bad for your gut and also may prevent the cheese from melting.*I prefer to salt and pepper Alfredo pasta after the cheese is already added.
