Maple roasted brussels sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 lb brussels sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil could be olive oil or avocado oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Trim brussels sprouts and remove outer leaves. Cut in half and spread over the baking sheet in one layer.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper over the brussels sprouts,drizzle oil on top
  • Roast for 25 minutes, mixing and turning brussels sprouts half way through.
  • Take the sheet out, drizzle maple syrup over the sprouts, stir and let cook for another 8 minutes
