- 1 lb brussels sprouts
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil could be olive oil or avocado oil
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Trim brussels sprouts and remove outer leaves. Cut in half and spread over the baking sheet in one layer.
Sprinkle salt and pepper over the brussels sprouts,drizzle oil on top
Roast for 25 minutes, mixing and turning brussels sprouts half way through.
Take the sheet out, drizzle maple syrup over the sprouts, stir and let cook for another 8 minutes
